Java and Web Services (JaWS) provides software design and development services on an hourly basis. Typically the fee is $72 an hour, depending on the project and expertise of the consultant. In the event that consulting services are required on very short notice, a higher rush rate may apply.

Linux
Linux is the most robust and scalable platform. It uses Apache web server with options for CGI scripting and access permitted via Web Dav tools. This option is ideal for sites that need to be very secure and always available. SSL protocol services available. Backed up nightly and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Setup: $144.00 (one-time fee)
Monthly recurring charge: $30. (100MB of space)
Additional space available for $5 a month per 100MB of space.

Windows
This option is available for sites requiring Microsoft databases and/or scripting using Active Server Pages (ASP). Web server is Microsoft's Internet Information Server 5.0. Access permitted via WebDAV. SSL protocol services available. Backed up nightly and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Setup: $144.00 (one-time fee)
Monthly recurring charge: $60. (100MB of space)
Additional space available for $5 a month per 100MB of space.

Oracle
Oracle is a very powerful database capable of serving large, enterprise projects. Fully backed up and monitored 24 x 7. All DBA time will be charged on an hourly basis at $72 an hour.

MSSQL
This database option is available only to those clients who are using JaWS consulting to run or create their application. Only available to Windows sites. Fully backed up and monitored 24 x 7. All DBA time will be charged on an hourly basis at $72 an hour.
Monthly hosting fee: $45

MySQL
This is a low-cost alternative to Oracle for UNIX sites. Fully backed up and monitored 24 x 7. All DBA time will be charged on an hourly basis at $72 an hour.
Monthly hosting fee: $15

Microsoft Access
Our only database option that does not require JaWS to do all database modifications. Available only to Windows sites. Fully backed up and monitored 24 x 7.
Monthly hosting fee: $10 per ODBC connection.

support

JaWS provides basic support for JaWS hotel web sites by applying security patches and updates to th the operating system and web server software as deemed prudent by JaWS. Special requests and customer-specific support for hotel users is available at $72.00/hour.
